You might think it was unlikely that there were better tracks that were somehow overlooked; you would be right. It gets really irritating when the song takes on a sort of prancing rhythm. Waters had moved on from the ridiculous lyrics of Floyds earlier work, and passed even the plain speak of Dark Side; on WYWH, he finally achieves something like good rock poetry which is to say, words that make it clear what they mean, even if that meaning isnt there on the page and here manages to deliver them that way, too. All that said, Gilmour himself had no business creating a Pink Floyd album on his own and it was on his own, because, once the album got underway, it was plain that Mason couldnt even drum any more.
